SPM Atlas is an independent reference site for Factorio, covering production ratios, planet-specific production chains in the Space Age expansion, and the quality and recycling systems. It exists to answer the questions that need a calculation rather than a paragraph: how many machines a target rate needs, what a planet-specific chain actually consumes, and what a higher-quality item really costs.

Two things decide what gets published here. Every number comes from the game's own published prototype definitions rather than from estimates or hearsay, and it is checked before it ships. Where a number cannot be produced honestly — multi-output chemical recipes, planet-specific alternate routes, assumptions the game data does not confirm — the page says so instead of filling the gap with something plausible.

Our standards

Game data on this site is cross-checked against multiple independent sources, including the game files themselves where possible. Where a value could not be confirmed, we say so instead of presenting it as fact. Pages that depend on patch-specific numbers state which game version they apply to.

Independence
